2. Purpose and acceptance
This legal notice governs access to, browsing of and use of the website nivelalegal.com. Accessing the site makes you a user and implies full acceptance of these conditions from the moment of access.
The domain nivelalegal.es redirects to this same site and is subject to the same conditions.
3. Conditions of use
The user undertakes to make diligent use of the website and of the services accessible through it, in accordance with the law, good faith and public order. The following is prohibited:
- Using the website for unlawful purposes or in ways harmful to the rights and interests of third parties.
- Introducing or distributing software liable to cause damage to the systems of the owner or of third parties.
- Attempting to access restricted areas, altering data, or carrying out actions that may damage, disable or overload the website.
- Using the forms or the guided assessment to send unsolicited commercial communications, or to provide third parties’ data without their knowledge.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
All the content of the website — text, photographs, graphics, images, icons, typefaces, design, source code and other elements — belongs to the owner or to third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property rules.
Its reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without express written authorisation. The name “NIVELA” and its logo are distinctive signs of the owner.
5. The content is informative only
The content published on this website is for information purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial or any other kind of advice, and it cannot replace the individual analysis of a specific case by a professional.
The legislation and case law cited correspond to the update date of each piece of content and may have been amended since. The owner accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of that content.
6. The guided assessment is not legal advice
This site offers a guided assessment in which the user answers a series of questions and receives preliminary orientation about which routes might be worth considering in their case.
That orientation:
- Is preliminary and indicative. It does not constitute legal advice or an opinion on the case.
- Is not an automated decision with legal effects, nor a judgement as to whether the user does or does not meet the requirements of any procedure. It merely points out which elements justify a more detailed study.
- Does not prejudge the outcome of any action and does not guarantee any result.
- Is produced solely from the information provided by the user, without any verification of documents.
Every legal assessment is a matter for a professional, after reviewing the documents in the case.
7. Provision of the professional service
Sending a form, completing the guided assessment or sending an email or message does not create any professional relationship between the user and the owner, and does not interrupt any limitation or lapse period.
The professional relationship arises only once the engagement is formalised in writing. The engagement is formalised with a law firm, with a registered professional responsible for the matter; it may be signed by the firm itself or by NIVELA on its behalf, at the firm’s instruction. Conduct of the case is in every instance the responsibility of a registered professional, subject to the Estatuto General de la Abogacía Española (the general statute of the Spanish legal profession), approved by Real Decreto 135/2021, and to the professional conduct rules of their bar association.
Before it is formalised, the user will be told in writing the scope of the proposed work, its price and its terms.
8. Exclusion of liability
The owner does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability and continuity of the website, and is not liable for damage that may arise from interruptions, viruses or computer intrusions beyond its control, while taking all reasonable measures to prevent them.
The owner is not responsible for the accuracy of the data the user provides through the site, nor for the consequences of providing incomplete or incorrect information.
9. Images used on this site
The photographs of the people on the team and of our office are real: they show the professionals identified on the team page and our premises in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The remaining images illustrating everyday situations on this site have been generated with artificial intelligence tools and are purely illustrative. They do not correspond to real people, or to clients, or to cases we have handled, and they do not reproduce genuine documents. This is stated in compliance with transparency obligations regarding synthetic content.
No image on this site represents a result obtained or suggests the outcome of any matter.
10. Links to third parties
This site may include links to third-party services, such as the WhatsApp messaging application. The owner does not control those services and is not responsible for their content or their terms of use, which the user should consult for themselves.
11. Applicable law
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be heard by the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction under the applicable rules. Where the user is a consumer, the forum established in their favour by consumer protection rules shall apply.
